These thread cutters are very sharp and incredibly handy when dealing with most types of fabric. Each order includes 2 pairs of black carbon steel thread snips. I am a hobbyist myself and I use these for both menial tasks as well as more complex projects. When you need a detailed cut these will beat regular scissors every time.
